Storage Facility Rental: What Does Warehouse Rental with Warehouse 3PL.hr Hubs Include?
Storage facility rental is crucial for eCommerce operations, wholesale, logistics, and manufacturing companies. Whether your business is B2B or B2C oriented, choosing the right warehouse space can significantly impact costs, operational efficiency, and product security. In this guide, we explain what warehouse rental involves and how to choose the best option for your needs.
What Does the Storage Facility Rental with Warehouse 3PL.hr Hubs Include?
In conversations with clients, inquiries typically focus on two aspects: What is the warehouse rental cost? And does the rental include only space or additional services? As a fulfillment center, one of our core advantages and business premises is offering extra services that simplify the logistics process for clients.
Therefore, in our case, clients don’t rent space per se but pay for the services they use, based on a pre-defined price list. Renting a warehouse or pallet space means paying for the service regardless of whether it involves 0 or 500 pallets.
Key components of warehouse rental include:
✔ Contract Duration – short-term or long-term rental;
✔ Security Systems – camera surveillance, alarms, insurance;
✔ Logistics Services – loading, unloading, distribution, inventory management.
Choosing the Right Pallet and Pallet Space
In our Warehouse 3PL hubs, we predetermine the type of pallet used. The most common is the standard Euro pallet, measuring 120x80x150 cm. However, there are also non-standard pallets that can occupy two or even three pallet spaces, such as 120x80x170 cm, 120x120x200 cm, and 150x130x200 cm.
Different pallets have varying load capacities, and selecting the right type can surely reduce the risk of damage to goods and injury to workers.
Fulfillment Services
The most commonly chosen services by our clients are fulfillment services, which include receiving, inspecting, sorting, shipping, packaging, cross-docking, and product labeling. In general, outsourcing these services is cost-effective as it saves time, money, and workforce resources. Clients can then focus on strategic activities, sales, customer care, and marketing.

Goods Reception
Overall, the goods reception process is the first step in fulfillment. Quick and accurate recording of goods enables efficient processing and ensures inventory accuracy.
The process includes:
- Quantity verification – comparing received goods with the order list;
- Packaging inspection – ensuring packages are undamaged during transport;
- System entry – recording items in the warehouse system;
- Location assignment – allocating storage based on type, weight, or order frequency.
In particular, we differentiate between pallet, package, and specialized receptions depending on the type and size of goods.
Goods Inspection and Sorting
After reception, goods are inspected and sorted according to the highest standards. This includes qualitative inspection which means checking for damage, correctness, and potential defects. Quantitative inspection ensures the number of items matches the order. It can also include sorting by category, size, SKU (Stock Keeping Unit), and serial number. Goods that fail to meet standards are registered as claims.
Product Packaging
Proper packaging is crucial for product safety. In brief, the process includes choosing suitable packaging, adding promotional materials if needed and ensuring the proper protection of the box.
If the product is fragile, it’s essential to mark it as “fragile” during the labelling process. For more information, refer to our blog: Proper Product Packaging: How to Protect Products from Damage.
Shipping Goods
Shipping is the final and possibly the most sensitive step in the fulfillment process, as it involves transporting the order from the warehouse to the end customer.
We offer favourable use of courier services like DHL, UPS, DPD, GLS, and HP, but the choice of courier is entirely up to the client. The shipping process includes generating and printing delivery labels (barcodes, tracking numbers, delivery addresses), handing over the package to the courier service and informing the customer via email or SMS with a tracking number.
In addition our couriers are also available for urgent deliveries (same-day delivery).
Cross-Docking
Cross-docking is a logistics technique where goods are immediately directed for delivery without being stored. Products arrive directly from suppliers to the fulfillment centre, are sorted and repackaged, and quickly sent to the final customer or store.
This method is especially suitable for goods with high demand or short shelf life, like fresh produce. It also helps reduce storage costs.
Product Labeling
Labeling involves adding key product information via labels, either in the warehouse or before shipment.
Types of Labels:
- Barcodes and QR codes – for tracking and product identification;
- Name and description labels – information about composition and usage instructions;
- Serial numbers and SKU codes – for easier inventory management;
- Safety labels – “Fragile”, “Keep Dry”, “This Side Up”;
- Promotional labels – discounts, branded labels, or promotional QR codes.
Warehouse Management System
While various IT solutions connect the warehouse management system with clients, some prefer manual handling, which may include manual order entry, filling customs documentation, updating the CRM, handling courier service orders, and product assembly.
Secure Storage Facility Rental and Fulfillment Services
When choosing a warehouse, several factors must be considered. Packaging and delivery are among the most crucial aspects of customer experience. Regardless of the chosen solution, flexibility and scalability are key – especially for businesses in their early stages.
